Finally!

November 10, 2008

Twenty-two months after my kids gave me a kegging setup the keg finally has brew in it!

I can’t wait to see how this brew is carbed up. The sample when I took the final gravity reading tonight was just ok. I was shooting for a brew that wasn’t too bitter, after tasting the sample I’m notsure it’s bitter enough. I plan to leave it alone until at least Friday night when I’ll try getting some in to a glass. Hopefully it won’t be a glass of foam….

Found your blog via homebrewtalk board. Nice to see another homebrewer who blogs. Anyway, was getting into kegging hard? I currently bottle, but am getting tired of filling those little suckers up.

NO, it was quite easy. I keep expecting it to start giving mefoaming problems and the like, but so far the one picnic tap has been trouble free. Starting Sunday I should be set up for 2 kegs, maybe then I’ll have a different answer!
    HBT is a great site!
